Neutrosophic Cognitive Map for the analysis of hypothyroidism and its impact on older adults with heart disease
Main Article Content
Abstract
Subclinical hypothyroidism is a common condition in adults that is associated with increased cardiovascular risk. Thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) plays a crucial role in regulating immune function and may promote atherosclerosis. This is especially relevant in elderly people with heart disease, as hypothyroidism may exacerbate conditions such as hypertension. Therefore, it highlights the importance of early interventions in vulnerable populations. This research addresses these key points, highlighting that subclinical hypothyroidism increases cardiovascular risk and that TSH could be a promising therapeutic target. The research aims to implement a Neutrosophic Cognitive Map to analyze the impact of hypothyroidism in older adults with heart disease.
