Neutrosophy: Origins, applications, and perspec-tives in contemporary logic
Main Article Content
Abstract
Neutrosophy is a philosophical and logical current proposed by Prof. Dr. Florentin Smarandache that expands traditional dialectical ideas by incorporating a third element—indeterminacy—alongside thesis and antithesis. In various interviews and forums, complemented by the perspectives of Dr. Maikel Leyva Vázquez and Dr. Lorenzo Cevallos, its application in solving complex problems—both in the formal sciences and everyday life—has been explored in depth. This article examines the background of neutrosophic theory, its foundations, and its applications in fields such as education, health, statistics, and informatics, as well as its institutional development and its strong presence in Latin America.
