Abstract
The purpose of this research is to demonstrate the usefulness of the use of neutrosophic logic in solving real problems through the selective evaluation of crimes perpetrated in social networks through the use of neutrosophic correlation coefficients. For this, a documentary analysis is carried out that provides the primary information on which to carry out the analysis and the knowledge of experts in the area is used. Correlation coefficients applied to neutrosophic numbers of single value are used to obtain a ranking of the crimes with the highest incidence according to crimes defined for the purposes of the study. The application of the method allowed to obtain as a result the existence of a greater global influence of the crime of extortion on the other crimes analyzed. Likewise, identity theft and phishing constituted crimes of great influence according to the criteria analyzed.
