Abstract
Unemployment, and employment discrimination based on gender, is a recurring phenomenon that causes a certain level of economic and social consequences. Despite the recent advances in gender equality in the labor market, gender is an important factor when it comes to finding work, taking into account that the law establishes that no human being must be discriminated against. This research aims to develop an aggregation model to measure legal analysis of the functionality of labor equality between genders in Ecuador. The methodology used in the construction of the work is bibliographic and based on descriptive information: the level of correlation and explanation was used with the qualitative-quantitative approach. On the one hand, the main cause for women is discrimination, while for men it is the low labor demand in the services sector. This shows that the paradigm of assigning tasks according to gender is maintained and generates discrimination by neglecting people's abilities and aptitudes.
