System of recommendations for the orthodontic management of patients with incomplete apicoformation
Main Article Content
Abstract
Rhizolysis is the pathological wear of the dental root due to a traumatic agent, in this case orthodontic movement, it is one of the most common side effects that the orthodontist fears will happen within their treatments, the main factors being type, quality, and direction of force applied to a developing tooth. Orthodontics in patients with mixed dentition is a concern of the orthodontist in knowing whether to perform it or not, taking into account the open apices and immaturity in its development, the objective of this treatment being to eliminate occlusal trauma or simply an aesthetic problem. Despite the fact that it has been proven that treatments at this age are more effective in certain well-diagnosed situations. It has been shown that light loads and constant movements can control the side effects of treatments. The objective of this research is to develop a system of recommendations for orthodontic management of patients with incomplete apical formation.
