Abstract

Investigations carried out relate the variation of the pH from the influence of the type of cleaning of the oral cavity. Based on this definition, this research aims to implement a method to determine the influence of toothbrushing on salivary pH and its relationship with the presence of streptococcus mutans. The technique used for data collection was the taking of salivary samples and strips to measure the pH; Factors that influence the pH variation were taken into account, such as the intake of sugary drinks and tobacco consumption. In the tabulation and description of the data, descriptive statistics were used through the use of experimental analysis. The proposal was validated by expert criteria based on the Delphi Neutrosophic method.
