Aggregation model for the evaluation of Wolff Parkinson White syndrome
Main Article Content
Abstract
Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome is a syndrome characterized by congenital cardiac preexcitation arising from abnormal cardiac electrical conduction through an accessory pathway, which can lead to symptomatic and life-threatening arrhythmias. This phenomenon was named Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome in 1943. The electrocardiographic features of preexcitation are associated for the first time with anatomical evidence of abnormal conductive tissue or bypass pathways. Ventricular preexcitation syndromes are produced by the persistence of fibers of embryonic origin that are not reabsorbed and connect the atria with the ventricles around the tricuspid and mitral rings. The present investigation aims to develop an aggregation model for the evaluation of Wolff Parkinson White syndrome.
