The Organic Integral Penal Code, regarding the crime of illicit association, establishes that this is verified when two or more persons associate with the purpose of committing crimes, thus the objective of this research is to investigate the crime of illicit association in the Ecuadorian penal system, to verify which are its objective and subjective elements, as well as whether or not the accumulation of penalties is applicable, in addition to investigating the pronouncements of the National Court of Justice in relation to this crime. Based on the systematized theoretical foundations, it was found that researches have been applied with the use of neutrosophy and that is why the objective of the present study is derived: to apply neutrosophy in the evaluation of the knowledge of university students about the crime of illicit association and the accumulation of penalties for related crimes. A non-experimental descriptive research was carried out using theoretical, empirical and mathematical statistical methods. The results reveal the need for further research on this topic.
