Abstract

The study was based on using neutrosophy to understand which is the most affected area and the severity of the bone defect within 1 year, which in the field of modern dentistry are taken into account to be able to provide treatment options in the case of missing pieces in the oral cavity, and thus arrive at a viable planning depending on each particular case. The objective of this study was to carry out a Neutrosophic study of bone degeneration in the edentulous space caused by dental extraction over a period of 12 months. For the development of the study a set of theoretical, empirical and mathematical statistical methods and techniques were used. Once they had been applied to the selected sample, the validity of the results obtained could be confirmed, since they left our research perspectives open.
