Abstract

In Latin America, single mothers represent a significant group within the family structure. Factors such as high adolescent fertility rate, migration and economic instability contribute to the prevalence of female-headed single-parent households. Single mothers in the region face challenges such as social discrimination, lack of government support and job insecurity. In Ecuador, single mothers constitute a significant part of the female population. The economic situation, gender inequality and limited access to health and education services significantly affect these families. The government has implemented policies and programs to support single mothers. In Tulcán, single mothers face similar challenges, such as lack of formal employment and discrimination. However, the local community shows signs of resilience and solidarity. The present research aims to develop a neutrosophic method for the recommendation on the violation of the human rights of single mothers in Tulcán.
