Analytical Hierarchical Neutrosophic Analytical Process for Evaluating the Role of Nursing in the Care of Adolescents with Anxiety Disorder
Main Article Content
Abstract
In the context of the increasing incidence of anxiety disorders among adolescents, research will be carried out with the objective of implementing the Neutrosophic Hierarchical Analytic Process to evaluate the role of nursing in the care of these young people. The interventions of nursing professionals are essential for a comprehensive approach that guarantees quality care and reduces the prevalence of emotional disorders. According to the WHO, between 10 and 20% of adolescents suffer from mental health problems, and one in five in the transition from childhood to adolescence suffers from emotional disorders. This is particularly worrying, since the lack of adequate care can aggravate these problems, generating suicidal and self-destructive behaviors. Nursing care plays a crucial role in providing education, early detection of disorders, and evidence-based treatment. Activities such as informative talks and the creation of health clubs are vital to promote mental health and prevent the development of serious conditions. Furthermore, it is essential that these initiatives be strengthened with adequate public policies that improve training and available resources. Recognizing the factors that contribute to mental illness in adolescents is imperative to prevent tragic incidents such as suicide. This study seeks not only to understand the contribution of nursing in this area, but also to establish strategies that improve the response to this growing problem in Ecuador.
