Neutrosophic method for the recommendation of adhesive systems and their gold standard
Main Article Content
Abstract
The present research focuses on the adhesive systems available in the Ecuadorian market, essential materials in restorative and adhesive dentistry, used in restorations, veneers and crowns. These adhesives are classified by generations according to their composition and evolution, where the latest generations seek to simplify their application. Despite these improvements, fourth-generation adhesives are still considered the gold standard for their effectiveness in adhesion to enamel and dentin. The main objective of this research is to develop a neutrosophic method for the recommendation of adhesive systems and their gold standard. To achieve this, the various adhesive systems available will be analyzed and compared, considering the inherent complexity in the selection of the appropriate adhesive for each procedure. Integrating the Neutrosophic Single Value Numbers will allow to address uncertainty and vagueness in the evaluation of adhesive properties and performance, thus optimizing decision making in dental practice and facilitating a more informed and accurate selection.
