Neutrosophic multicriteria method for the evaluation of water contamination in Ambato
Main Article Content
Abstract
This research aims to develop a neutrosophic multicriteria method for assessing water pollution in Ambato, a public and environmental health issue that impacts all continents. Water pollution generates serious health problems for humans, making water an unsuitable source for meeting daily needs. This situation has generated concern and anxiety among the population, given that access to drinking water is fundamental for human survival. In Ambato, water pollution has contributed to the emergence of serious problems, such as infant mortality and preventable diseases, jeopardizing the right to a dignified life, as established in Article 66, paragraph 2 of the Constitution of the Republic of Ecuador. The use of a neutrosophic multicriteria approach will allow a more complete and effective assessment of this problem, considering various factors that affect water quality and thus providing a tool for informed decision-making in water resource management. The implementation of this method seeks not only to identify and analyze pollution levels, but also to contribute to the protection of the right to water and the health of the Ecuadorian population.
