Multicriteria neutrosophic method to assess the feasibility of using polygraph in the labor field
Main Article Content
Abstract
The objective of this research is to implement a multicriteria Neutrosophic Method to evaluate the feasibility of using the polygraph in the workplace, considering its ethical, legal, and psychological implications, as well as its impact on the relationship between employers and employees. This research focuses on the feasibility of using the polygraph in the workplace, analyzing the implications that arise from its implementation. The use of the polygraph can jeopardize legal certainty between the worker and the employer, since its application is not convenient for processes such as hiring new staff, promoting, or resolving internal conflicts. Polygraph tests tend to erode the trust and personal integrity of workers, generating reasonable doubts toward the employer, which hinders the creation of a healthy and collaborative work environment. Furthermore, it has been determined that the use of the polygraph may violate constitutional rights and principles, given that the results obtained from these tests are not entirely reliable and lack general scientific acceptance. Therefore, implementing a multi-criteria Neutrosophic Method seeks to adequately evaluate all relevant criteria, ensuring that the decision on polygraph use in workplace settings is based on a rigorous and comprehensive analysis. This will address the ethical, legal, and workplace welfare aspects necessary for a fair and balanced assessment.
