Feasibility study of ICT in the field of Educational Neuroscience
Main Article Content
Abstract
The topic addressed in this article provides an updated view of the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) in Neuroeducation. A bibliographical and documentary review was conducted to analyze the theoretical contributions of published studies on the topic. The PRISMA 2020 method was used, utilizing academic portals and scientific platforms with information relevant to the topic, such as Google Scholar, ERIC, Dialnet, Science Direct, and JSTOR. Based on the data extracted from the various selected and consulted sources, the most relevant information was organized and interpreted. Of a total of 789 articles returned by the search, only 20 were selected and included in the research. The findings indicated that the virtual strategy based on gamification necessarily uses ICT tools as an implementation mechanism. Furthermore, a high demand and preference among teachers for leveraging the benefits of Neuroscience in the classroom context was verified. It is important to note that no works in English were found on the topic examined. Finally, we proposed implementing specialized qualitative research software for future work that delves deeper into the analysis of ICT and NE variables.
