Abstract

Teacher preparation for the attention to diversity in the classroom is an indispensable element to achieve an inclusive education. Therefore, the goal of this paper was aimed at describing the factors that limit the effectiveness of care to the diversity of low ability students, in Calixto Garcia Municipality of Holguin province. The case study revealed the poor pedagogical management of the areas, laboratories and workshops of educational institutions, inadequacies in the application of psycho-pedagogical strategies for the developer teaching, current approaches and methods of conceiving the educational process. Consequently, the quality of attention to the diversity of low abilities students is conditioned by the preparation and level of professional performance of teachers and it is a concrete expression of inclusive education.
