Neutrosophic in Artificial Intelligence: Advances and Applications
Main Article Content
Abstract
This special edition of the international scientific journal "Neutrosophic Computing and Machine Learning" (Vol. 41, 2025) explores the advances and applications of Neutrosophic in Artificial Intelligence (AI), presented at the joint conferences organized by the BARNA Management School (Dominican Republic) and the Universidad del Trabajo del Uruguay (UTU) under the title "Thinking in Uncertainty." The conferences brought together international experts, with special participation from the founder of Neutrosophic, Dr. Florentin Smarandache, to discuss the challenges of AI. By adding uncertainty to classical binary logic, Neutrosophi coffers a robust framework for managing incomplete and contradictory information, overcoming the limitations of current AI systems, such as LLM models. The discussions emphasized that the future lies in the symbiosis between AI and human critical thinking, highlighting interdisciplinary and Latin American perspectives (e.g., yanantin) and inviting readers to explore ways to integrate technology and humanity in an ethical and contextual balance.
