Abstract

Alcoholism is an addiction in which the victim feels a constant urge to drink alcoholic beverages and that this is stronger than his own will to desist from it. It has become oneof the main problems of modern society. People who are affec-ted in this way must abstain completely so that the urge to excess does not overcome them. Despite being considered a mental disorder, it is necessary to join efforts to evaluate from an integralpoint of view the biological, psychological and social as-pects that can achieve the rehabilitation of the sick, that is why it is very important that the correct diagnosis and the identifica-tion of all the factors that complicate these patients, In order to identify the epidemiological behavior of alcoholism and its vio-lent consequences in the family and social environment in the Turcios Limas Polyclinic, from January 30th, 2018 to January 30th, 2019, a prospective and cross-sectional descriptive study wascarried out. To obtain the information, we rely on the sur-veys of alcoholic patients and their families, as well as on the individual clinical records, collected in 16 offices of the family doctor belonging to the said polyclinic, this information was processed in a database. The results obtained are analyzed through a model of neutrosophical recommendation to support decision making about the socio-epidemiological behavior and family functioning of alcoholic patients.
