0. Introduction

Neutrosophy, founded by F. Smarandache in 1995 (published 1998), studies the origin, nature and scope of neutralities and indeterminacies. The neutrosophic triplet (T, I, F) — Truth, Indeterminacy, Falsity — provides a formal framework for modeling the uncertainty inherent in educational processes: assessments with grey zones, ambivalent teacher perceptions, partial learning, multicultural contexts, and the growing complexity that generative artificial intelligence introduces in classrooms.

Unlike binary approaches (true/false, pass/fail), neutrosophy recognizes that knowledge always contains degrees of truth, falsity and an indeterminacy zone that must not be ignored or oversimplified. This is particularly relevant in the era of generative AI, where the responses of large language models (LLMs) contain varying degrees of reliability and areas of uncertainty that students must learn to identify and manage.

This page gathers the main published contributions connecting neutrosophy, plithogeny and related frameworks with education sciences, organized by thematic lines.

I. Neutrosophy, Generative AI & Teaching

1. "From Complexity to Neutrosophy: A Pedagogical Proposal from N-alectics and Latin American Worldview"
Leyva-Vázquez, M., Batista Hernández, N. & Smarandache, F. (2025). Preprint.
Proposes guiding systems like ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini using "Neutrosophic Prompts". Instead of receiving binary or simplified answers, the student requires the AI to break down a topic into three components: Degree of Truth (T), Degree of Falsity (F), and Degree of Indeterminacy (I). Converts AI into a tool to augment the student's critical thinking rather than replace it.
