Neutrosophic method to assess the violation of labor rights of pregnant women in the private sector
Main Article Content
Abstract
This paper examines the inadequacy of the Ecuadorian Labor Code's coercive power to protect the labor rights of pregnant women in the private sector. The objective was to implement a neutrosophic method to assess violations of these rights. Despite international and national regulations promoting equality and non-discrimination, the sanctions established in the Labor Code, such as fines of up to two hundred dollars, are completely inadequate in the face of the constant abuses suffered by these women. The lack of effective and dissuasive measures allows labor rights violations to continue, putting the health and well-being of pregnant workers at risk. To address this problem, it is essential to strengthen sanctions and improve the legal protection of labor rights by implementing a comprehensive analysis that identifies the main areas of violations. Assessment using the neutrosophic method will provide a more robust and effective tool for measuring the impact of these violations and will guide the development of policies that guarantee true equality in the workplace. This comprehensive approach is essential to ensuring that the rights of pregnant women are respected and a fair and safe work environment is promoted in the private sector.
