Abstract

Traumatic injuries to the pancreas are considered an infrequent event in the context of closed abdominal trauma, however they are accompanied by high morbidity and mortality, which is why the surgeon must take special care in the event of closed abdominal trauma, taking into account In the retroperitoneal location of the pancreas, an injury to it is frequently accompanied by damage to other organs or vascular structures of the abdomen, therefore an isolated injury is considered an exceptional case. The present investigation proposes a multicriteria Nuetrosophical method for the evaluation of the treatment before a blunt abdominal trauma: isolated pancreatic trauma. A descriptive, observational, cross-sectional methodology is applied. The method allows to determine from the evaluative indicators the incidence, mechanisms by which it occurs, methods used in the diagnosis, therapy and complications focusing on the importance of an early diagnosis that allows the patient to access the appropriate treatment in a timely manner focused on the integrity of the pancreatic duct and to avoid the possible complications that this injury could cause in the short, medium and long term.
