Abstract

The study presents the use of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) as an enhancer of specific histological characteristics of tissues made up of cells with receptors for platelet growth factors, as well as the biological foundations of PRP at the cellular level, the technique used to obtain it, and its current clinical uses in the area of dentistry. During the research process, the postulates of the transversal design were taken into account, which is why the objective of the research is to apply Neutrosophy for the analysis of the applications of platelet-rich plasma in dentistry. In order to adequately obtain scientific knowledge, methods such as synthetic analytical, deductive inductive, student survey, measurement and distribution of absolute and relative frequencies were taken into account. Once the data obtained had been applied and tabulated, the results were interpreted and found to have an adequate level of validity, which showed the importance of the use of neutrosophy in this subject, aspects that reaffirm that the use of PRP is an economical method because it is obtained from the same patient, in addition to the simple processing, making its use easily accessible and promising in regenerative dentistry.
