Abstract

Herpetic gingivostomatitis is one of the most common viral infections in infant populations and in children under 6 years of age. It should be considered that in herpetic gingivostomatitis children may or may not present symptoms, thus becoming carriers of the virus. When the patient has acquired the herpes simplex virus type 1, the infection can remain active or recurrent in the nerve ganglia throughout life. In the present study, with the help of the nesutrosophical sciences, an investigation was carried out to identify the level of knowledge of the students of dentistry with respect to the investigated subject. Non-experimental research of descriptive type was used, where the methods are subscribed to this type of study, among the theoretical ones we find the systemic analytical and the deductive inductive. On the other hand, the empirical methods used were the survey and non-participant observation. While mathematical statistics were used descriptive statistics. The results presented in the research show the actuality and novelty of the presented research.
