Neutrosophic statistical analysis to identify diagnostic limitations of two-dimensional radiographic interpretation in ectopic molars due to bony septa
Main Article Content
Abstract
One of the oral clinical conditions that are not very common worldwide are ectopic teeth, however, they can appear in the general population and in several occasions they can go unnoticed, but at the moment of finding it, it is a shocking clinical case due to its complexity and peculiarity. These are detected at the moment of performing a clinical evaluation and obtaining images such as two-dimensional radiographs that present limitations. For this reason, the neutrosophic perspective is assumed in the present research. A mixed research approach with a cross-sectional design was used. The objective of the research is to perform a neutrosophic statistical analysis to identify the diagnostic limitations of two-dimensional radiographic interpretation in ectopic molars due to bone septa. Once the data obtained were applied and tabulated, the results were interpreted and have an adequate level of validity. The main conclusion of this research is the need to implement educational actions on this subject for an adequate preparation of professionals in training in dentistry.
