Abstract

The increase in vehicle theft crime in the city of Babahoyo during 2022 has been a concern due to the lack of citizen security. The lack of police presence, the lack of adequate technology and the sophistication of criminals are factors that have contributed to this problem. The growing sense of insecurity has affected the population, who face the loss of their vehicles, work tools and well-being. The objective of this research is to develop a neutrosophic method to evaluate citizen security and its relationship with the increase in vehicle theft crime in the city of Babahoyo in 2022.
