Abstract

Wearable devices together with mobile applications have become an essential part of the assistance in any field of science. The possibility of capturing data and information without the user having to press anything on the device has become part of the daily life of users. Within medicine, medical assistance is nurtured in an immediate, efficient and real-time way, especially without the need to attend a physical consultation. During the research, methods and techniques from both theoretical, empirical and mathematical statistical levels were used. A mixed research approach with a cross-sectional design was employed. The objective of the research is to use tools of neutrosophy in the assessment of the use of wearables and mobile applications in amateur athletes in gyms and their importance in lifestyle from the clinical setting. Once the methods and techniques described above were applied, the data were tabulated using the potential of neutrosophy, which offered a higher level of reliability to the results of this research.
