Abstract

Probiotics are live microorganisms that provide benefits for intestinal health and microbiota balance in animals. They are additives that are regularly supplemented in the diet of Broiler chickens and the positive effect on their intestinal villi such as structure and height, longer and healthier villi with a greater potential for nutrient absorption, which can contribute to better performance. However, their responses vary depending on factors such as: origin and composition of the probiotic, inclusion levels, feeding phase, age of the birds, diet composition, among others. There is no report in the literature on the conclusive effect of the use of probiotics in the feeding of broiler chickens, particularly on intestinal morphometry. The objective of this research is to develop a neutrosophic multicriteria method for the detection of mechanisms of action of probiotics on the intestinal health of broiler chickens.
