There is an increasing number of patients taking anticoagulant agents for the prevention of vascular thrombosis, so that several complications may arise if the dentist does not perform a correct preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative procedure in oral surgery. Therefore, it is of vital importance to evaluate whether the consequences of he-morrhagic events tend to be more serious than the risk of a thromboembolic event, which can occur if anticoagulant therapy is suspended. The aim of the research is to apply a neutrosophic linguistic scale for the assessment of knowledge about the management of anticoagulated patients in oral surgery. The characteristics of descriptive and cross-sectional non-experimental research were assumed during the inquiry. For this purpose, methods and techniques such as synthetic analytical and deductive inductive methods and techniques were used, while empirical methods and techniques such as survey and measurement were used. On the other hand, descriptive statistics were used. Before implementing the aforementioned methods, the researchers involved in the study undertook preparatory activities such as two workshops and a practical piloting activity. The results obtained show that neutrosophy is a viable tool for the evaluation of this subject and as a conclusion it is concluded that there is a low risk of hemorrhagic events during minor oral surgery treatments in patients taking anticoagulants, the use of local hemostatic measures is very useful.
