Abstract

Post-vaccine care is the methods administered by the caregiver to relieve pain or discomfort to the child at home, after being vaccinated, based on the education that the caregiver receives from the nursing professional who administers the vaccine. to children under 2 years of age. The objective of this research is to develop a neutrosophic multicriteria method to evaluate family care against post-vaccine reactions in children under 2 years of age. The method allows the determination of family care for children under 2 years of age who attend the Tulcán Sur Health Center. The results obtained show that half of the population knows about post-vaccine care and the other half does not know about it or has average knowledge, resulting in the incorrect application of said post-vaccine care in children. With the implementation of the proposed method, it is concluded that the design and implementation of strategies such as the post-vaccine care education plan will help mothers and family members to have knowledge about the care that should be applied to avoid serious adverse reactions.
