Abstract

Living in a democracy gives citizens the power to make decisions and benefit from their results, thus recognizing the dignity of the human being and the rights of individuals, respecting differences, plurality and diversity of criteria. As a consequence, the participation of the different social groups in decision making is vital, making it essential that there be a motivation for young people to take an active part in the politics of a country, since as a democratic end, it is important to guarantee the expression of this group of society, through the debate and establishment of public policies, which allows the generation of an integral and sustainable development of societies. The objective of the research is to apply a neutrosophical approach in the analysis of the knowledge of students about youth and democracy from the perspective of sustainable development. A descriptive and transversal type of research was carried out, where theoretical, empirical and mathematical statistical methods and techniques were used. Prior to its application, a heuristic discussion was held on how to apply and tabulate the results. The results reveal the need for educational actions to transform the diagnosed situation.
