Abstract

The research focused on analyzing and contrasting labor relations where the protagonists are immigrants and the legal labor support under local regulations, in aspects such as rights, obligations, responsibilities and others. This research proposes an analysis of the problem raised from the implementation of a method for evaluating compliance with labor rights in migrants. It bases its operation on a multicriteria approach using the Neutrosophic Hierarchical Analytical Process. The results obtained show that migrants have the same constitutional rights as people of Ecuadorian nationality, which include labor rights. It was concluded that, in Ecuador, despite the existence of legal labor regulations such as the Labor Code, in many cases migrants suffer some type of violation or infringement of any of their labor rights, such as a fair salary, vacations, 8-hour workload, among others; and that in most of these violations, those affected do not take legal action, due to a lack of knowledge or resources.
