Abstract

The present study aims to develop a Neutrosophic Method to assess cybersecurity in the city of Babahoyo. The current challenges in cybersecurity are analyzed, focusing on the violation of the right to the protection of personal data and the insufficient existing security measures. Using empirical and theoretical methods, such as scientific observation, measurement and case studies, the current situation of cybersecurity in the city is evaluated, highlighting the importance of adopting a comprehensive approach that considers cyberattacks without distorting the focus on the protection of information. The findings show an urgent need to strengthen cybersecurity education and implement more effective policies that ensure the protection of citizens' personal data. It is concluded that it is vital to improve cybersecurity in Babahoyo to guarantee privacy and safeguard the security of individuals in a digital environment that is constantly evolving. Thus, the development of a Neutrosophic Method is presented as an essential tool for the evaluation and continuous improvement of cybersecurity practices in the region.
