Neutrosophic and plithogenic approaches in data science and multivariate analysis: Contributions from the IX Ibero-American Meeting on Biometrics
Main Article Content
Abstract
This special issue of Neutrosophic Sets and Systems brings together a selection of outstanding papers presented at the IX Ibero-American Biometrics Meeting, held on July 8 and 9, 2025, in Quito, Ecuador. Under the direction of a prestigious editorial team, this volume explores the application of neutrosophic and plithogenic approaches in diverse fields such as biometrics, bioinformatics, public health, education, and economics.
The articles highlight the convergence between classical statistics and artificial intelligence, illustrating how neutrosophic methods offer powerful tools for modeling the uncertainty and complexity of contemporary data.
The issue pays tribute to international academic collaboration between Latin America and Spain, highlighting the crucial role of institutions such as the State University of Milagro and the University of Salamanca in advancing research.
