Medical forensic autopsy recommendation system for identifying criminality in child deaths
Main Article Content
Abstract
The multiplicity in child abuse, in legal terms, can be caused by conduct of action or omission; behaviors that are mostly expressed subtly, through an insult, a "light" blow, affective, emotional or nutritional deprivation. In society, these events have predominantly been taken as corrective towards the minor and are tolerated by those who are witnesses and even justified by the perpetrator and family environment and only call for public scrutiny when there is a fatality. The objective of this research is to develop a system of recommendations in legal medical autopsy in deaths of children to identify criminality. The investigation is framed in a boy or girl who has been injured to the point of death and who has suffered from a long process of physical, psychological, emotional and deficiency events, inflicted by an adult, who is part of the mostly family environment. From the best interest of the child, it is important that the subtle forms of violence are identified, educated in the pertinent corrective measures and a healthy future is forged.
