Abstract

Type II diabetes is the most frequent in older adults worldwide, affecting 2 to 3% of society, people with diabetes can produce insufficient amounts of cells and molecules that promote healing. The mandibular torus is a benign pathology that affects 5% of the world population. It is asymptomatic, but it represents complications in patients who require prosthesis, for which reason surgery is recommended for prosthetic indication. The present investigation proposes a multicriteria nuetrosophical method to recommend prosthetic treatment in patients with type II diabetes and mandibular torus. A descriptive, observational, cross-sectional methodology is applied. The recommendation index for treatment is obtained as a result and the main trends on treatment related to the clinical picture are discussed.
