Abstract

Gastrointestinal parasitosis are infections that, according to the pathogenic microorganism such as protozoa and helminths, could be harmful, mainly in infants under 5 years of age. For its suspicion and correct diagnostic orientation, the clinical-epidemiological context of the patient is very important, since, although some of these parasites cause a characteristic type of infection, in most cases clinical manifestations or non-specific syndromes are found. The objective of the research was to develop a neutrosophic method to evaluate the main gastrointestinal infections in children under 5 years of age. The research was carried out using a qualitative-quantitative, descriptive and cross-sectional approach. The implementation of the neutrosophic method allowed the evaluation of the main gastrointestinal infections in minor children.
