Main Article Content
Abstract
Monkeypox is a zoonotic disease, many of the reported cases come from rural areas of Africa, taking into account that the first case occurred in the Congo, its hosts are rodents and primates; The main symptoms of this zoonotic disease are fever, malaise in general and most notably rash. In Ecuador this virus has skyrocketed since July-August of this year. The measures adopted to monitor this case in the country should be more rigorous since at the moment there is only prevention with protocols, quarantine and primary health care. The present investigation describes a solution to the problem posed through the development of a method using Neutrosophic Cognitive Map for the evaluation of the incidence of monkeypox.
