Abstract
Staphylococcus lugdunensis is a species of bacteria belonging to the genus Staphylococcus. It is a gram-positive microorganism that is part of the normal bacterial flora on the skin and mucous membranes of humans. Although it is generally considered to be part of the normal microbiota, under certain circumstances it can cause infections in the human body.
