Neutrosophic multicriteria evaluation for the analysis of the energy required for the incorporation of elec-tric buses in the city of Ambato
Main Article Content
Abstract
Transport represents a quarter of humanity's current energy demand. Therefore, it reflects a colossal use of fossil fuels and its contribution to global warming. The electrification of transport has great potential to decrease greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, air pollution and noise. Evaluating the energy demands for electromobility is essential for Ecuador's sustainable development ambitions. Particularly, to fill the energy demand data gap for the incorporation of electric buses for public passenger transport in the city of Ambato-Ecuador, the useful life of the vehicle fleet, the number of existing vehicles and the analysis of transport routes are considered. The objective of this research is to develop a multi-criteria neutrosophic evaluation for the analysis of the energy required by the incorporation of electric buses in the City of Ambato. The method bases its operation on neutral-sophic numbers.
