Abstract
Globalization has revolutionized business, fostering the expansion of new companies and diversifying the provision of goods and services, leading to global financial interconnectedness. In this context, financial analysis has become an essential tool for the strategic management of SMEs, facilitating the assessment of their financial status, the identification of their strengths and weaknesses, and improving decision-making. This research aims to develop a neutrosophic multi-criteria method to evaluate the impact of financial analysis on the expansion and sustainability of SMEs in the footwear sector in Ambato. For SMEs in the footwear sector in Ambato, financial analysis is crucial to ensuring their growth and sustainability, simplifying investment planning and adapting to a highly competitive market. However, many of these companies face obstacles in their start-up due to a lack of financial knowledge and the limited use of analytical tools to assess their economic performance.
