Neutrosophic Cognitive Map for the analysis of legal law in relation to organ donation and transplantation in Ecuador
Main Article Content
Abstract
In Ecuador, the ethical and legal aspects related to organ donation and transplantation have been the subject of scrutiny and development over time. The background reveals an evolution marked by challenges in the definition of policies and regulations that guarantee equity, transparency and respect for the rights of donors and recipients. This research proposes the development of a method using a Neutrosophic Cognitive Map for the analysis of legal rights in relation to organ donation and transplantation in Ecuador. The results showed the existence of a regulatory framework that regulates organ donation and transplantation; however, gaps and challenges were identified in its effective application, especially with regard to the protection of the rights of living and deceased donors, informed consent and fair allocation of organs. In this sense, the objective of this research was to develop a Neutrosophic Cognitive Map for the analysis of legal rights in relation to organ donation and transplantation in Ecuador. The results show the need to strengthen supervision, training and awareness mechanisms for both health professionals and the general population, in order to promote a culture of organ donation based on solid ethical and legal principles, which guarantees dignity and equity in access to transplants in Ecuador.
