Abstract

This research addresses the causes and socio-educational measures that an adolescent offender will take as part of his sanction. It is highlighted that adolescents are not born as offenders, but that various factors, such as the family environment, socioeconomic inequalities and lack of opportunities, can influence their criminal behavior. At the same time, the importance of preventive interventions that address these underlying causes is highlighted, prioritizing family support programs, access to quality education and equal opportunities for all young people. Likewise, the need to change the focus from sanction to rehabilitation is emphasized, focusing on measures that facilitate the resocialization and effective integration of adolescent offenders into society. The present research aims to develop a multicriteria neutrosophic method to evaluate the effectiveness of socio-educational measures in adolescent offenders in Riobamba. The method bases its operation on neutrosophic numbers to model uncertainty. It uses information aggregation operators for evaluation and decision-making. As a result, the method was implemented where it was possible to demonstrate its applicability.
