Neutrosophic multicriteria method for the evaluation of preventive strategies for cognitive impairment in older adults
Main Article Content
Abstract
Cognitive Impairment is characterized by the decrease in mental abilities, becoming common in the older adult population, which is why it is important to seek early interventions and healthy lifestyle strategies to prevent or delay the progression towards more serious conditions like dementia. The present research proposes a multi-criterion neurosophic method for the evaluation of preventive strategies for cognitive deterioration in older adults. A descriptive, observational, cross-sectional methodology is applied. It is hoped that the results of this research can serve as a model for other communities that face similar challenges in promoting cognitive health in the older adult population. The implementation of effective preventive strategies had the potential to improve quality of life and reduce the global burden associated with cognitive decline in the older adult population.
