System of recommendations for Pupillometry classi-fication in severe head injury
Main Article Content
Abstract
Traumatic brain injury is a complex injury that can cause severe, even fatal, neurological complications and sequelae. For this reason, multimodal assessment of patients with TBI is essential to ensure timely and personalized treatment. In the context of severe head trauma, pupillometry is a technique for measuring pupil size and reactivity, and is an additional tool for management, as it allows monitoring the neurological status and predicts its deterioration. Thus, the objective of this work was to develop a system of recommendations for the classification of pupillometry in severe head trauma.
