Abstract

The legal principle In Dubio Pro Reo is implemented in the context of violations of violence against women and members of the family nucleus in Ecuador. The degree of compliance with a legal indicator can be expressed through a direct relationship of neutrality performance representing a domain of neutrosophic values to model uncertainty. The implementation of Soft Computing techniques has been used to represent uncertainty in decision-making processes of this nature. This research describes the development of a method to classify the principle of In Dubio Pro Reo, in violations of violence against women and members of the family nucleus. As a result, five causes associated with the problem under study were identified. It is worth highlighting, among others, the time limits for holding the trial hearing in expedited proceedings and ensuring that the accused has sufficient time to prepare an adequate defense; ensuring that the accused is adequately notified and has the opportunity to appear at the trial hearing to exercise his defense. Possible solutions to this may contribute to the creation of a violence-free environment and promote gender equality in Ecuadorian society
