Abstract

The research was based on the emerging disruptive technology in the current era called Artificial Intelligence, and the potential it has to transform the field of law. This leads to analyzing possibilities, risks and opportunities of artificial intelligence for educational purposes, comprehensively and prospectively analyzing the impact of Artificial Intelligence and promoting informed and responsible reflection on the future of legal practice in the country. This research implements a method for the evaluation of artificial intelligence and the future of law: legal challenges and opportunities in Ecuador. The results were obtained through the application of instruments, which guaranteed a systematic and coherent collection of data to be able to effectively compare and contrast the participants' responses, around artificial intelligence, different studies by authors were addressed that provided new understandings regarding the topic of this research, in this sense, this research aimed to legally analyze the impact of artificial intelligence on Ecuadorian law, in order to assess the importance of proposing policies or legal reforms that address the challenges posed by the introduction of AI in the Ecuadorian legal system, seeking to guarantee equity, transparency and respect for fundamental rights in this new technological paradigm.
