Abstract

Digital technology's quick development has changed the face of craftsmanship by
changing how traditional skills are taught, practiced, and passed down. To provide
comprehensive training models for aspiring artisans in the digital era, this study investigates the
relationship between digital capabilities and traditional skills. The study emphasizes the need for
a well-rounded strategy that combines technological competence with the preservation of
cultural heritage by examining ten possible training options and six fundamental criteria: digital
literacy, innovation and creativity, skill preservation, market adaptability, sustainability
awareness, and pedagogical integration. This study uses neutrosophic model for ranking the
alternatives and overcome uncertainty. According to the findings, the preservation of traditional
methods is still essential to preserving authenticity and cultural value, even when digital
capabilities like design software, e-commerce, and online learning platforms make artisans more
globally competitive. To foster both innovation and legacy continuity, the study highlights the
value of integrated training techniques, which include maker spaces, industry-academia
alliances, and mentoring programs. In the end, this all-encompassing viewpoint puts emerging
artisans as both innovators and cultural carriers who may prosper in a world that is more
connected by technology.
