Abstract

This paper presents an innovative decision-making method that integrates similarity and Hybrid
distance measure techniques within the context of N-valued neutrosophic trapezoidal (NVNT) numbers. The
theoretical foundations and essential properties of the proposed similarity measure are rigorously established.
Building upon this, a method is developed to address multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) problems
utilizing the proposed measure within the NVNT environment. To validate the effectiveness of the approach, a
detailed numerical example is provided. Furthermore, a comparative analysis is conducted against existing
MCDM methodologies designed for NVNT-numbers. The results reveal that the proposed method
demonstrates superior performance and enhanced flexibility in managing uncertainty and imprecision when
compared to conventional techniques.
