Abstract

In this paper, we define a generalized Euclidean distance measure based on generalized set
valued neutrosophic quintuple numbers. It is shown that the Euclidean distance measure satisfies the
distance conditions. Furthermore, an algorithm based on generalized set-valued neutrosophic
quintuple numbers, and the Euclidean distance measure is given. Furthermore, a multi-criteria decision
making application for this generalized algorithm is presented.  Finally, a real example from daily life
is presented to demonstrate the applicability and usability of the proposed multi-criteria decision
making method and compared with different methods. In this application, we have examined some
plants with high economic return and ranging from the food sector to the pharmacology sector. We
have examined which or which of these plants grow best under the criteria we have determined in the
cities in our sample, where these plants are not known to grow. Thus, we can say that this application
can be used in plant selection due to its result and structure.
