Abstract
Student research is recognized as one of the most important processes in student training, and it is necessary for future professionals and for the dialogue they establish with tutors at different training levels, which allows them to assess research problems related to their profession. Unfortunately, there have been problems in the methodological action of research and even poor practices for mastering the scientific method. This research proposes the implementation of a method for the evaluation of scientific orientation from projects in the training of legal professionals. It bases its operation on a multi-criteria approach using the Neutrosophic Hierarchical Analytical Process. The methodological research procedure followed in the preparation of the Level Integrating Projects was explored, according to the requirements of law research, in different stages to meet the training needs for the development of research skills of students. The evaluation results issued by the neutrosophic method suggest that the level of precision is very incipient at the beginning of each level, and that the students did not master the conscious application of research methods and techniques. It was concluded that better strategies must be defined to improve the development of the research competence of these students in their professional university training.
